Es gab zwei Serien der Sprint. Das Grundmodell war bis 1974 im Programm, während parallel dazu die sehr ähnliche Vespa Sprint Veloce bis 1979 angeboten wurde. Beide Modelle verfügten über einen Motor mit 150 cm³. Der Motor der Vespa Sprint Veloce hatte drei anstatt zwei Überstromkanäle, wodurch die Verdichtung und damit die Leistung etwas höher war.
